In order to host the sixth Hunan Tourism Development Conference, make Xiangtan City a destination for red tourism with international influence, promote high quality development of local culture and tourism industry, and to establish a world-renowned embodiment of red culture and a model of culture, tourism and technology integration, Xiangtan City has launched the works’collection for the sixth Hunan Tourism Development Conference. We solicit the slogan, logo, mascot and theme song of the sixth Hunan Tourism Development Conferenceacross the world, with the aim to find talented creators to tell the stories of Xiangtan City and spread them to the world.  

The collection lasts from now to October 29^th2025 and adheres to the following principles. Firstly, the slogan should be based on the theme of “Welcome to Charming Hunan”and combine regional features and cultural deposits of Xiangtan City. And the slogan should be concise and appealing, with word limit ranging from 4 to 12 characters. Secondly, the logo needs to reflect the appearance, culture and tourist attractions of  Xiangtan City. And the logo should be original and easy to be spread and applied, with strong visual impact. Thirdly, the mascot should be original, extensible and highly recognizable, displaying culture features of Xiangtan City. Fourthly, the theme song should be an original song with beautiful melody. It is expected to demonstrate the new appearance of Xiangtan City and the happy life of local people in the new era as well as the innovation achievements of culture and tourism integration. You need to add a piece of description when you submit your work. Any information relating to the creators must not appear in the design manuscript. Creators have to guarantee the full ownership of intellectual property rights of their work.

In order to participate in this activity, creators need to provide their real names (or names of institutions and communities), identification, detailed address and contact information and fill in the application form and sign the letter of commitment according to requirements. And please add all these materials into a folder, with the name of “Sixth Hunan Tourism Development ConferenceSlogan/Logo/Mascot/Theme Song+Creator/Institution Name+Contact Information”and send it to us through email. Experts will be invited to appraise the submitted works and select the best ones. The selected creators will get fat bonuses. We will set one best work award and three nominee awards for each category, namely, the design of slogan, logo, mascot and theme song. Winners of the best work awards will be rewarded 100,000 yuan for slogan, logo, mascot design and 150,000 yuan for theme song composition; winners of the nominee awards will be rewarded 10,000 yuan for slogan, logo, mascot design and 50,000 yuan for theme song composition.
